State College's Milner Snaps Up Player of the Week Monday, July 2nd , 2063 A hot-hitting week got Matt Milner the Sub League 1 Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The State College third baseman slammed them for a .667 average, 14 hits in 21 at-bats, 2 home runs, 12 RBIs and scored 7 runs. In the postgame press conference, Milner shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that." |
