Abe Goes 5-for-5 Against Plattsburgh Tuesday, July 3rd , 2063 Kuniyoshi Abe had an answer for everything the Plattsburgh Bulldogs threw at him today at Golden Panthers Ballpark. The Potomac Heights second baseman went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and put the Golden Panthers on top, 9-3. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Abe said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Kuniyoshi Abe singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. So far this season, Abe has recorded a .246 batting average with 68 hits, 4 home runs, 26 RBIs, 36 runs scored and a .327 OBP. |
