Roberts Untouchable, Tosses No-Hitter Wednesday, July 4th , 2063 Excitement reigned at Ballpark of Houston today as Bayonne Rangers hurler Jesse Roberts tossed a baseball rarity -- a no-hitter. After defeating the Houston Swallows, 6-0, he was swamped by reporters in the clubhouse for postgame comments. "I'm just glad to be here," Roberts said. "Today I just went right at the Swallows as hard as I could, as long as I could." Roberts chalked up 9 strikeouts and allowed 1 walk in his superb performance. "I don't think they could have stopped him with a howitzer today," said Bayonne manager Kyle Westmoreland.
