Sound Tigers Alvarado Named SL1's #1 Player Monday, July 2nd , 2063 The Player of the Week has been chosen by the Sub League 1. The award went to Danny Alvarado, right fielder of the Perth Amboy Sound Tigers. In a sensational hitting performance, he wrecked league pitchers with a .538 average to win the honor. Alvarado went 14-for-26 for the week, totaled no home runs and 0 RBIs and scored 6 times. Thus far this season Alvarado is hitting .282 with 1 home run, 9 RBIs and 21 runs scored.
