Purkis Learns More about Injury Friday, July 6th , 2063 Paul Purkis will have to wait a while longer. The Hazelwood shortstop was informed this afternoon that he will miss another 6-7 weeks with a fractured finger. The injury has kept him off the field since 07/04/2063. Though Purkis had hoped to return soon, he has no choice but to be patient. "Gotta stay focused," he said. "Gotta stay positive." This season Purkis has hit at a .265 clip with 37 RBIs, 3 home runs and 43 runs scored. |
