Cougars Deal Jimenez to Cannonballs for Tsuchiya Monday, July 2nd , 2063 It took some time to iron out the details, but the Cougars and Cannonballs have agreed to a swap. Clearfield will get 21-year old minor league LHP Jonathan Alvarez and 19-year old minor league CF Sergio Jimenez with Greenfield receiving 32-year old RHP Makio Tsuchiya in return. A source close to the trade talks said the two clubs were initially looking to make a bigger deal, but discussions broke off late last night. The two sides reconvened early today and eventually settled on this deal. To date this year Tsuchiya has saved 1 games while tossing 7 innings. He has a 0.00 ERA, fanned 4 batters and made 6 relief appearances. |
