Eaglesmere, Roanoke Trade Players Monday, July 2nd , 2063 The Eaglesmere Eagles have finalized a deal with the Roanoke Boomers for the services of 35-year old LHP Rich Francois. In exchange, the Boomers will receive 24-year old minor league RHP Tony Norton and 23-year old minor league RF Eddie Silva. This season Norton has been credited with no saves. In 10 relief appearances and 12.1 innings he has a 1-0 won-lost mark, a 1.46 ERA and 8 strikeouts. To this point in the season, Francois has put up these figures: 1-3 record, 25 relief appearances with 22 innings, 2 saves, 18 strikeouts, 4 walks and a 6.14 ERA. He has limited other teams to a .333 batting average. |
