Eagles Swap Moores to Ironmen for Cruz Monday, July 2nd , 2063 In an effort to add some depth to its roster, the Eaglesmere Eagles have swapped 24-year old LF David Moores and 21-year old minor league C Aaron Popper to the Indiana Ironmen for 35-year old minor league RHP Willie Cruz. The Eagles GM told reporters, "We saw a chance to upgrade our ball club and took it." Thus far this season Moores has hit .067 with no home runs, 1 RBIs and scored 2 times. In his career, Cruz has collected 12 victories and 12 defeats along with 4 saves. He has a 4.17 ERA and has struck out 144 in 209.1 innings. |
